Eye Catching and Interactive Digital Signage at ECU’s Joondalup Campus

Kingman are extremely proud of this digital signage project that we recently completed at ECU’s campus in Joondalup.

Kingman are the preferred signage contractors for ECU, whether it’s new signage, or maintenance on existing signs, Kingman have been looking after ECU for years.

“ I have worked with Kingman and Dave Ryes on a number of digital signage projects over the last couple of years. Dave is always readily available and considers and understands our needs and direction. The digital signs have been a huge success and commonly used within ECU as we look to increase wayfinding in the direction of digital. We are always open to new and exciting ideas with the circular outdoor screen which was a challenge but fantastic results and method of communication.”

Kingman love working with such innovative thinkers, and this is especially evident on their most recent digital signage project, where they commissioned Kingman to design and install a cylinder screen around an external concrete pillar. Kingman were able to come up with a fixing solution to hold the screens together around a circular pillar at the student hub. We engineered a frame to hold the modular LED screens that was fabricated from steel and laser cut. All made here locally in WA at our state of the art signage factory in Malaga.

These Modular LED screens are so versatile and can be used to create a variety of digital display styles. The design possibilities are endless, and Kingman can engineer a mounting solution to bring any vision to life.

When ECU decided to revamp building 31, level one, they needed new signage to match, naturally Kingman was there to take care of all their signage needs. That included everything, from statutory signage, internal and external signage as well as all the directional wayfinding signs, with the majority of these being interactive digital wayfinding solutions for the students to find their way around campus.

With Kingman being the leaders in digital signage it was a pleasure to not only manufacture and install all the digital signage, we also designed and delivered all the digital interactive wayfinding content to go on their wayfinding screens. This made Kingman Visual the one stop shop for these digital signage projects.

The implementation of digital signage here at ECU is simply stunning, not to mention at the forefront of digital signage technology unlike any other campus in Perth. They are leaders in innovation and understand the value of utilising digital signage solutions for the future generation of bright minds.
