Last month Kingman Visual was contacted by the event organisers for WA Day, about providing some 3D foam lettering for the free 2018 WA Day Festival taking place over the June long weekend just gone. Kingman was delighted to get involved in a day that celebrates Western Australia, mainly because we are so proud to be a WA based company.
The event had foam lettering signage last year and wanted the same thing again this year. However, Kingman wanted to provide something a little bit more impressive than your standard foam letters. Our design team got cracking on some different concepts, and we came up with some AWESOME 3D aluminium letters with internal illumination. The Marketing Manager – Nicole Lennox Gray and the team loved the idea however they still wanted the foam letters as well for all the traditional photo opportunity at Elizabeth Quay, so Kingman was more than happy to provide both sets.
Our fantastic account manager John Mann organised the whole project and contacted all the suppliers to donate the materials below to make this project happen.

Our talented steel department brought these designs to life with their gifted skills. The letters were then given the high-quality paint treatment in our paint shop then passed onto fabrication to install the acrylic “day” lettering down the sides as well as the Kingman logos, with translucent vinyl applied to the faces. Once that was all completed, these letters were then internally fitted with LED for some beautiful illumination.
The letters also have a list of the suppliers mentioned above applied in black vinyl down the side of the “W”. We are very proud of everyone who kindly donated to this awesome event and got involved in supporting WA Day.
