The Nine Network signage project!
Kingman Visual was awarded the signage contract to manufacture and install the Nine Network’s corporate logos at their new state of the art studios in Perth’s CBD. Kingman was also contracted to design and install the reception signage, as well as manufacture and install all the internal glazing/privacy films, which turned out stunning.
The Nine Network logos were all fabricated in-house in our very own metal department using aluminium. Once fabricated they were 2pac spray painted for a high-quality finish. The logos are internally fitted with high-quality IP67 LED’s for illumination which shines through the opal acrylic faces beautifully to showcase the big blue letters in their unmistakable corporate blue.
The impressive blue letters were also used in their television advert, to announce the opening of their new studios in Perth’s CBD, the news reporters were seen carrying the iconic letters outside their new building. The team at Kingman were extremely excited to see the big blue letters on the television.
The Nine Network are the first television station to relocate to Perth’s young and vibrant newly developed CBD. The new location will house the station’s entire operation including its two studios, control room, and media exchange facilities. It will cover 2500sq m across three interconnected buildings. The hub has an outdoor area, called Nine Plaza, with a public viewing window into the news studio, a first for Perth.
This signage project won Kingman a gold award at the ASGA Biennial sign awards for the installation category. The blue letters were installed to steel framework which gives the illusion that the Nine Network logo is floating in mid-air. All the team at Kingman were very proud to have been part of this project.
